Job Title: Interim Financial Accountant
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire (5 days per week on-site)
Contract Type: Interim (Full-time)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Interim Financial Accountant to join our finance team based in Oxford. This is a full-time role requiring a commitment to 5 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the month-end close process for assigned business areas, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and maintaining high-quality reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and improving the audit trail and transparency of supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to further develop Microsoft Dynamics ERP, enhancing automation and accuracy within financial accounting.
• Actively contribute to finance transformation projects, working towards building best-in-class finance systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar financial accounting or technical accounting role.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
