We're looking for a Senior .NET Developer who thrives on solving complex technical problems and building scalable, reliable solutions. Position Description: The Senior .NET Developer provides expertise in DevSecOps, Agile methodology, multiple software languages, software quality assurance, infrastructure, helpdesk/desktop support.
Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide expert software development support for multiple languages (e.g., .NET, C#, Delphi, MUMPs, JAVA) for multiple types of applications (e.g., desktop, web) and interfaces
- Follow VIP OI&T Delivery framework and overarching VA guidance (One-VA Technical Reference Model (TRM)
- Use Rational Tool Suite, POLARIS calendaring tool, VIP Request (VIPR) portal, and ServiceNow
May utilize either a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Citrix Access Gateway (CAG) - Participate as a member of development support team
- Design solutions
- Contribute to design activities
- Develop code independently
- Participate in code reviews and may lead code reviews
- Lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers
- Design, prepare and execute unit tests
- Provide time / resource estimates for assigned tasks or projects
- Mentor other team members
- Assist technical writers in obtaining technical information needed for competency development, past performance, and
- proposals
- Analyze technical issues
- Collaborate with other internal and external groups
- Provide and review needed documentation changes
Compensation & Benefits: The annual projected pay range for this position is ($105,000 - $130,00) with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.

Requirements
Minimum/General Experience: 8 years of software development experience
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related field, or the equivalent years in experience
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent experience designing and developing software in healthcare information technology (IT)
- Excellent experience with Visual Studio, C#, MVC, and .NET Core/Razor
- Excellent experience maintaining applications on Microsoft Azure
- Excellent experience with containerization tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Excellent experience with microservices
- Excellent understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, OO)
- Excellent experience developing web services
- Excellent ability to consistently apply quality and security standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to work effectively in a team and with clients
- Experience working with Github, Jira (preferred)
- Experience with a federal agency (preferred)
General Physical Requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on the location of the assignment.
- Assignment Location - Remote

- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years
