PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the overall planning, coordination and execution of enterprise projects. Provides leadership and coordination of project resources and vendors to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and fully optimized.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple complex projects from idea state through delivery simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Engage and motivate project team, serving as liaison between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost and meeting plans are communicated.
- Fosters an inclusive work environment by seeking team members' perspectives, actively listening to others' opinions and experiences and modeling/encouraging respectful communication across the project team.
- Accountable for project execution and migration to production, including resources needed for readiness and training required for new functionality, required procedural and marketing communications and other necessary updates.
- Responsible for providing meeting agendas and minutes, conducting lessons learned/postmortem exercises at completion of each project and ensuring the project timelines, project hours tracking, tasks, milestones and deadlines are accounted for.
- Monitor ongoing status of projects with periodic reporting of progress to the Executive team, Management and the Board of Directors.
- Interact collaboratively with other Credit Union departments to determine justification for projects, understanding project scope and cost, details of enhancements, changes and execution plans.
- Assist internal stakeholders with investigation of new technologies, process improvements and execution of upgrades to existing software applications as needed for desired performance and efficient operations.
- Participate in vendor due diligence collection, RFP development, evaluation of vendors, review of contracts and detailed documentation, fit assessment within COFCU infrastructure, vendor financial health, pricing, terms and product/service risk assessments. Involvement in recommendation for vendor selection.
- Ability to understand existing and desired technical infrastructure, including scope and use of software applications and investigation of impact to departments and procedures when changes are introduced.
- Participate in annual budget planning for capital and ongoing expenditures related to projects, striving to minimize variances.
- Stay current on job-related equipment, procedures and/or information by reading publications, attending conferences and webinars and other necessary means.
- Adhere to all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
- Maintain community involvement and participate in special projects, as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Pay Range: $77,000 - $99,000 per year commensurate with experience
Hybrid Work Arrangement: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with a combination of in office and remote days following an initial training period in office.
Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree required, PMP certification required
Experience: 3-5 years Agile project management experience, preferably handling multi-department enterprise projects for a financial institution
Skills: Technical acumen; self-starter who can gain relevant product/service/system knowledge necessary to effectively manage projects; excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills; experience with change management and impacts to people; prioritization; vendor management; initiative and creative problem solving; excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage diverse project teams and explain technical issues to non-technical audiences; ability to motivate teams and influence others to drive project tasks to completion; proficient with project management methodologies, project tracking tools (such as Monday.com) and Microsoft Office applications.
