We’re looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join an exciting team supporting a major tech campus in Nashville! In this onsite role, you’ll lead procurement and contract strategy, negotiate agreements, and provide guidance across a variety of construction and consulting projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle contracts management: strong understanding of consulting/construction related contracts and local regulations with ability to negotiate commercial terms and conditions, provide commercial terms review, perform project-set-ups and collaborate with other team members responsible for performing project set-ups, incorporate flow-down clauses as needed and screen for local laws and regulations with a view toward aligning with corporate policies, procedures, and current state objectives.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert (SME) for contract administration and management while assisting in onboarding/training of contract specialists, administrators, interns, and temps.
- Responsible for training and education of other team members regarding best contract management practices.
- Manage task orders, SOWs, change orders and amendments to a project while regularly updating Vantage Point CLM and maintaining contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, status reports and other documents for all projects and run CRM/CLM reports as needed.
- Assist with Company acquisitions, integrations, mergers and special projects as required and assigned; Document control, review, and auditing of data rooms against AR backlog in support of newly acquired companies.
- Perform client creation and registration, vendor portal registrations and management for all new and existing projects and clients; monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing).
- Evaluate and support the client bidding process and RFQ proposals from a contractual, compliance, business and financial perspective as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients on contractual matters and act as an intermediary between Team members and customers.
- Management and actioning of Contracts Admin inbox by assigned profit centers.
- Assist with various Department administrative functions including updating of Department Playbook, workflows, and templates as a contract administration/management SME.
- Assist with drafting of best contract management practices protocols.
- Perform such other tasks as may be requested by supervisor.
- Assist with the establishment and implementation of organizational procedures and standards for the contract management process.
- Assist with implementation, testing and updating of contract management software.
- Work effectively with legal counsel in identification and management of risks and mitigation of such risks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attendance at work during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Highly motivated, organized, customer and team focused with ability to handle a fluctuating workload and manage multiple changing priorities both independently and in collaborative setting; ability to be a team player.
- Working knowledge in accounting, business finance, law, and contracts.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and concisely summarize, report, and discuss issues with senior management.
- Must possess the ability to develop positive working relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, peers, and senior management.
- Ability to manage, delegate to, and train multiple Team members as needed.
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly in dealing with changing priorities.
- Proficient with time management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with third party portals and vendor registration platforms commonly used by clients.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheets, and Teams.
- Advanced proficiency with online platforms; Vendor/Client Portals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to analytical research and collaboration.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience: Familiarity with Vantage Point enterprise resource planning software. Minimum of five to ten years with contract and procurement matters in a corporate environment. Demonstrated proficiency in management of personnel.
Preferred Certification: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM)

The salary range for this full-time role is $93,000.00-$124,000.02 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
