Description
Your Role:- Transform the existing costing process into a digital solution within the Global Design & Technology (GDT) team
- Consolidate costing elements from global manufacturing sites to build and maintain a global cost architecture
- Define and manage key cost drivers (cost levers) and develop optimized and scalable costing models
- Translate costing outputs into pricing inputs, aligned with rules provided by Franchise Marketing Business Partners
- Support customized costing for highly customized Cell Culture (CC) products, reflecting customer-specific requirements and value-added features
- Execute data-driven costing strategies leveraging the company's data lake
- Design and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Python and/or SQL
- Develop and deliver data visualization and reporting using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Extract and manage data from SAP and other ERP systems
- Analyze cost structures to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and key cost drivers requiring escalation
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across GDT, manufacturing sites, and business teams to support costing and pricing decision-making
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (5+ years preferred) including hands-on experience with data analysis, costing, or system/tool-based projects
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data processing, analysis, and pipeline development
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, including data extraction and analysis
- Strong interest in and understanding of costing analysis
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage data and numerical accuracy at a high level
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage timelines and respond to changing internal/external requirements
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to effectively identify and escalate critical issues when needed
- Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar tools to create clear and targeted presentations
